in tightly. In Figure 26, the sickle holder is shown attached to the grinder. The left edge of one section and the right edge of the one adjoining are ground at the same time.

In grinding, there is danger of burning the sections if held too firmly against the grinder. This can be easily avoided by holding the sickle on but lightly, and moving it rather rapidly up and down the grinder. The position of the sickle holder and of the hands is shown in Figures 27 and 28.
